Hester's Homestead is a game made by Prairie Giraffe, LLC. We wrote this to be short because there isn't much to say: the game doesn't collect anything about you.
Your farm (your coins, jars, familiars, decorations and progress) is saved on your own device so you can pick up where you left off. It stays on your device, and we never see it unless you choose to send us a copy with a note (below). Deleting the app deletes it.
Nothing on its own. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party services in the game. It works without an internet connection.
In Comfort there's a "Write to us" page for bugs, ideas and hellos. Nothing is sent unless you write a note and tap Send. A note carries what you wrote, the game's version, your kind of phone and screen size, and where you are in the game (for example, which chapter). Two boxes, both yours to untick before sending, add a picture of the scene you were looking at and a copy of your game's progress, so we can see what you saw.
A note doesn't include your name, email, location or contacts. We don't keep your internet address; we keep a scrambled stand-in for it, only to stop floods of notes. Notes are stored with Cloudflare, who host the game, and read only by the people who make it. We use them to fix and improve the game, never for advertising, and we never sell or share them. To have a note deleted, email us roughly when you sent it and what it said.
If you allow them, the game sets reminders on your device (for example, "The raven is back with something"). These are scheduled by your phone itself; nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off any time in your phone's Settings.
The game is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children, beyond a note a player chooses to send.
If this ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above before the game does anything differently.
